It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona J. Schmidt (Morrison, Illinois), born in Clinton, Iowa, who passed away on March 7, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodworth Judd and Marie Judd (Zickau); her husband Marv; her sons, Peter and John; her siblings, Carroll Judd and Eleanor Winter; and her half-brothers, William and Jerry Judd.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Schmidt (Lise) of Costa Rica, Ann Britt (Mike) of Morrison and Jean Zinnen (Mark) of Morrison; her daughter-in-law Jodi Schmidt of Richland Center, WI; her grandchildren, Kris Schmidt (Sarah), Andrea Ragan (Jeff), Corey Schmidt (Michelle), Ray Britt (Mai), Mike, Jr. Britt (Dawn), Tyler Britt (Sonja), Allie Venhuizen (Brad), Ben Zinnen (Cass), Ben Kramer (Lindsay), Clara Schmidt and Sylvia Schmidt; and her half-brothers, Thomas and Robert Judd. She is also survived by many great grandchildren; recently a great great grandson.
