Gruber; his children, Julie Harding (Chris) of Rochelle, IL and James Bramm of Morrison; his grandchildren, Allysa, Gabrielle, Shannon and Christian Harding; and his sister Patricia Flynn of Sandwich, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

“So very sorry to learn of Gordy’s passing. He was a good friend who overcame many obstacles and maintained a truly infectious positive attitude. I will always remember my hundreds (if not, thousands) of driveway free throw contest losses to Gordy as we “shot the breeze”. But most of all, I will miss Gordy’s joy in describing his many creative solutions to the problems of his business clients, in retelling his adventures with Arnie The Farmer, and in sharing his great pride in his family.”
