He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Peterson and LaVelle Peterson (Milnes). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Wood; his sons, David Peterson (Heather) of Minneapolis and Derek Peterson (Moeko Otsuchi) of Hoffman Estates, IL; his grandchildren, Clio Grace, Eleri Ruth Peterson of Minneapolis and Yujin Glenn Peterson of Hoffman Estates; and his siblings, LaVon Downing (Larry) of Rockford and Ray Peterson (Vicky) of Morrison.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Bethesda Lutheran Church (301 W South St, Morrison, IL 61270).
