He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard J. Brackemyer and Florence Brackemyer (Renkes). He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen; his children, Claudia Garcia (Todd Lippens) of Dixon, IL, Barb Nienhouse (Eric) of Boulder, CO and William "Bill" Brackemyer (Sherry) of Morrison, IL; his grandchildren, Kayla Messer (Todd), McKenna Garcia, Brayden Garcia, Ethan Garcia, Jacob Nienhouse, Oscar Nienhouse, Christopher Brackemyer, Bridget Varnell (Bradley) and Dusty Fink (Travis); and his sister Susan Bland (Jack) of Morrison, IL.. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
