In loving memory of Gene R. Voss of Morrison, Illinois, born in Moline, Illinois, who departed this world on October 24, 2024 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman J. Voss and Alice Voss (Vos); his wife Beverly Strating; his siblings, Nancy Lain and Allan Voss; and his siblings-in-law, Ilene Snyder, Betty Nissen, Irma Decker, Barbara Fetterolf, Delbert Nissen, Berkley Fetterolf, Dayle Synder and L. Dale Hanson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Liles (Ralph) of Camanche, IA, Marla and Tricia Voss of DeWitt, IA; his grandsons, Jacob and Joshua Liles; his sister Betty Voss of Morrison, IL; and his siblings-in-law, Regina Besse (Mark), Evelyn Hanson (Dale), Neil Decker and Rod Lain. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and at 6:00 PM at the Bosma-Renkes - Fulton Chapel (1500 10th Ave, Fulton, IL 61252). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Spring Valley Reformed Church (10960 Spring Valley Rd, Fulton, IL 61252).
A memorial has been established to Spring Valley Reformed Church and Resthave Home.
