It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frank J. Vandermyde of Morrison, Illinois, born in Sterling, Illinois, who passed away on October 21, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Vandermyde and Alene Vandermyde (Ardapple); his stepmother Hilda; and his brother-in-law Ray Fylstra. He is survived by: his wife Doris A. Brondyke; his sons, Dave Vandermyde (Pat) of Morrison, Cal Vandermyde (Kim) of Morrison, Ron Vandermyde (Darla) of Morrison and Stan Vandermyde of Morrison; his brothers, Doug Vandermyde (Clarita) of Morrison and Dan Vandermyde (Nancy) of Morrison; and his stepsiblings, Charlotte Fylstra of Hinsdale, IL and John Buis (Judie) of Flushing, MI.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established to Emmanuel Church Mission Fund.
