He was predeceased by: his parents, John Willis and Mossie Mabel Carroll (Holt); his stepfather James Wiersema; and his siblings, Willis Carroll and Billie Jean Scaff.
He is survived by: his wife Vicki Zander; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Kayli, Kesley, Gracie, Cody, Kortnie and Camren; his great grandchild Ella; and his sister Betty Hathaway of Savanna.
There will be no services at this time; he had donated his body for medical study.
