He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Slater and Elda Anna Wing (Huebbe); his former wife Doy Ann Abell; his children, Norma M. Riggs and Calvin S. Wing II; his grandson Jeffrey Lee Mierch; and his siblings, Delores Sikkema, Laura Davis, Velma Hartwick, Carol McBroom, Susan Claussen, Richard Wing, Roy Wing, Wilfred Huebee, Edward Wing, Dean Wing, Dwaine Wing, Darrell Wing and Larry Wing.
He is survived by: his wife Sue C. Carter (Planthaber); his children, Janice K. Wing of Smith Mill, KY, Wanda L. Jenkins (William) of Robards, KY, Katherine E. Watson (Bub) of Smith Mill, KY, Linda S. Wing of Smith Mill, KY, Mickey R. Wing (Laura) of Booneville, IN and Allen G. Wing (Angela) of Waverly, KY; his stepchildren, Carol Melton (Benny) of Comer, GA, Steve Carter of Danielsville, GA and Alan Carter (Anna) of Hamilton, MT; and his sister Linda K. Flagel of Preston, IA.. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren; step grand and great grandchildren.
