She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter L. Temple and Flora Temple (Heun); her husband Bill; her stepgrandson Andy Barrett; and her siblings, Florence A. Buis, Marian J. Merema, Josephine M. Boelkins and Louis G. Temple.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Barrett (Pat) of Clinton, IA, Brenda Sheckler (Dave) of Fulton, IL and Steve "Sid" Schaver (Kelly) of Albany, IL; her granddaughters, Amanda Schaver, Miranda Schaver (Eric Burden), Emily Strunk (Brian), Nikki Frett (Jason) and Kara Ricklefs (Travis); her stepgrandchildren, Dannika Dawson, Ben Barrett (Rosemarie) and Emily Carlson; and her sisters, Genevieve Tiesman of Fulton, IL and Beverly Naftzger (Jim) of Erie, IL.. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established to Newton Zion Reformed Church.
