He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Morris and Paulene Grove (Marshall); his stepparents, Frank Marek and Rosalie Grove; his grandson Wilson Schroeder; and his brother-in-law Michael Miles.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Wilson; his daughters, Jennifer Heinsius (Russell) and Elizabeth Schroeder; his grandsons, John Nathan Roemer, Nicholas Wilson Roemer and Joshua Scott Schroeder; his siblings, Deborah Miles of Naperville, IL, Marilyn Fuller (Janet Catone) of Albuquerque, NM, Rick Grove (Donna) of Webb City, MO and Larry Grove (Skip); and his siblings-in-law, James and Cynthia Kessler.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriners' Hospitals for Children or First Presbyterian Church of Morris.
