She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Madsen; and her siblings, Gene Purdy, Max Purdy, John Purdy, Mary Jane Anderson, Ruth Hallett and Louise Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Clay Madsen (Teri) of Braceville, IL, Paula Knolmayer (Keith) of Winston Salem, NC and Leslie Kahne (Bernard) of Morris.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in her name may be directed to Joliet Area Community Hospice.
