He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hargis and Edith Hargis (Switzer); and his brother-in-law Stanley Darlington. He is survived by: his former wife Shelia Thompson; his wife Sheila; his children, Andrew of Morris and Katherine Hargis of Morris; his godson Marcus Miller; and his siblings, Bonnie Darlington of Florida and Scott Hargis (Lynda) of Shorewood.
