He was predeceased by: his parents, James Baker and Mary Katherine Baker (Hume); and his sister Catherine Sue Baker. He is survived by: his wife Debra Nelson of Morris; his children, Katherine Shimp (Tim) of Morris and Kyle Baker (Jeannette) of Woodbury, MN; his grandchildren, Jaxen, Kolbilyn Shimp and Nora Baker; his siblings, James H. Baker (Andrea) of Morris and Christine Baker of Morris; his parents-in-law, Gerald and Kathy Nelson of Morris; and his sisters-in-law, Karen Carlson (Mike Broderick) of Morris and Lori Giordano (Scott) of Mazon. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
