With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Theodosia Louise Elizabeth Gabel (Morris, Illinois), born in Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on April 18, 2019 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Thomas Gabel; her grandson Nathan Gabel; her brother George Nichlos; her stepsister Betty Carr; and her son-in-law William Gonnam.
She is survived by: her husband Fred Gabel, Jr.; her children, Barbara Gabel, Timothy Gabel and Robert Gabel; her great grandchild Katherine Bonomo (Geoffrey); her children, Nicholas Bonomo, Grace Bonomo, Laura Gonnam-Chagdes (Bradley), J. C. Gabel (Sybil Perez), Allison Gabel, Amelia Anne Gabel (Stephen Bajkiewicz), Karis Emerling, Seiya Emerling, Ralena Dobbins, Jessica Gonnam-Jacobus (Robert), Austin Shade, Blaine Larsen and Cash Jacobus; and her sisters, Joan Erickson and Helen Russ.
Memorial contributions may be made in Elizabeth's name to the Joliet Area Community Hospice or The Tom Gabel Goodwill Fund at Immaculate Conception School in Morris.
