He was predeceased by: his mother Joan Shay; and his sister Holly Jackson. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Shay; his children, Rebecca Lane, Robert Shay (Carolyn), Anna Shay, Daniel Shay and Adam Shay; his granddaughters, Audrey and Natalie Shay; his father Dennis Shay; and his sister Sandy Loucks. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
