It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Lee Hojek of Morris, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on October 8, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Nelson and Viola Nelson; her husband John Hojek; and her daughter Karrie Hojek. She is survived by: her children, John Hojek (Cathy), Bradley Hojek (Annette), Keith Hojek (Darlene), Corey Hojek (Linda), Traci Hojek-Post (James) and Gregory Hojek (Kathleen); her grandchildren, John Hojek III (Allison), Courtney Pesha (Anthony), Dayna Brown (Justin), Jamie Benitez, Brad Hojek, Jr. (Michelle), Jayci Dubik (Matthew), Karrie Hojek, Hollie Fleck (Tanner), Samantha Leinfelder (Nicholas), Haley Roe (John), Corey Hojek, Jr., Cody Post (Megan), Micayla Chow (Joseph), Tyler Post (Taya), Allyssa Post, Gillian Hojek, Benjamin Hojek, Elise Hojek and Allison Hojek; her great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Vinny, Zak, Caycee, Lynzee, Aubree, Axel, Dakota, Conlan, Faylinn, Wyatt, Colton, Eli, Ava, Brahm, Hank, Hayden, Jaxon, Harper, Owen, Nora and Thayer; and her sister Marilyn Barnhouse. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
