She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Dix and Edna Dix; her husband George; and her siblings, Donald Dix and Mary Frederick.
She is survived by: her children, Rod Lambros (Kathy) of Morris, Shirley Lambros of Morris, Michael "Mick" Lambros of Pittsburgh and Mark Lambros (Karen) of Kennesaw, Georgia; her grandchildren, Jake Lambros, Katy Samples (Ben), Zack Lambros, Amanda McCloskey, Candace Thornhill (Michael), Mark Lambros (Ashley), Michael Lambros (Phoebe) and Nicholas Lambros; her sister Delores Johnson of Lisbon; and her sister-in-law Shirley Dix of Morris. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Ruth's memory to: Lurie Children's Hospital or Joliet Area Community Hospice.
