He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Darin and Marie Darin (Haldorson); his siblings, Anthony, Willie, Leo, John Darin, Rita Brown and Mary Talty; and his son-in-law John Olson.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Mickelson; his children, Diane Olson of Morris, Ron Darin (Leslie) of Davis Junction, IL and Jim Darin (Marla) of Morris; and his brother-in-law Tom Mickelson (Germaine) of Yorkville, IL.. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren; 19 Great-Grandchildren.
Preferred memorials in lieu flowers may be as gifts in Roy's memory to Lightways Hospice, 205 Water Stone Circle Joliet, IL 60431 or to a charity of the donor's choosing.
