It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rick Olson of Morris, Illinois, who passed away on March 27, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Elizabeth "Betty" Olson (Clennon); his brother James Olson; his parents-in-law, Jack and Marianne Kutches; and his brother-in-law Jeff Kutches.
He is survived by: his father Marvin "Jake" Olson; his wife Kay Kutches; his children, Andy Fillman of Mazon, Maggie Olson (Jason Stoterau) of Morris, Ben Olson (Shannon) of San Antonio and Jake Olson (Emily) of Houston, Texas; his grandchildren, Sophia Fillman, Finley Ader, Beckett Blaine and Emmett Olson; his siblings, Chuck Olson, Dave Olson (Patti) and Janelle Aldrich (Barry) of Morris; and his siblings-in-law, Sue Crawford (Tom) of Coal City, Todd Kutches (Susan) of Everett and Joe Kutches (Kathy) of Morris. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as friends.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Rick's memory to the Morris Community High School Education Foundation.
