He was predeceased by: his parents, Fabian McTague and Olive McTague (Patton); his son Mark McTague; and his siblings, Maxine Brooks (Dale), Doris Tucker (Bert), Gerald McTague, Bonnie McTague and Joanne McNeely (Ken).
He is survived by: his wife Merle Aschenbrenner; his daughter Lynne Malone (Mike); his granddaughters, Madi, Megan and Madison Malone; and his sister-in-law Geraldine McTague. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
