He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Murphy and Bonnie Murphy (Gilliatt); and his grandchild Joie Neal. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Murphy of Arcata, CA, Jessica Salgado of Coal City and Randee Nance (Steven) of McComb, IL.; his grandchildren, Coso Stone, Makenzie, Lily Keleshian and Aubriella Nance; his sister Aaronda Murphy-Neuwirth (Steve); his aunt Sandi Schramm; and his cousin Kevin Schramm (Paula).

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the U. C. Davis-Callahan Funeral Home (301 W Washington St, Morris, IL 60450). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
