He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Kodat and Mary Walsh Kodat; and his brother Thomas Kodat. He is survived by: his wife Ana B. Koval; his son Steven Kodat (Jill); his grandchildren, Cory (Andrea) and Jessika Kodat (Chase McGarvey); his great grandchildren, Blair and Cameran Kodat; and his siblings, George Kodat (Rita), Judy Martin (Rich) and Philip Kodat (Karin).
