We bid farewell to Paul Fruland of Morris, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 18, 2025 at the age of 89. Paul touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Fruland and Charlotte Fruland; his wife Charlene; his brother Doug; and his son-in-law Dan Hillesland.
He is survived by: his children, DiAnn Hillesland, Mike Fruland, Heidi Wozniak (Bob) and Eric Fruland (Ann); his grandchildren, Zachary Hillesland (Claire), Haley Hirshman (Noah), Michael Fruland (Ali), Joshua Fruland, Lauren Rerucha (John), Wyatt Fruland, Meg Mihevc (Jackson), Matt Wozniak, Lila Fruland and Will Fruland; his great grandchildren, Ava Kulka, Owen, Hadley Fruland, Jax, Josie Rerucha and Lottie Hillesland; his nieces and nephews, Ed Harseim (Jan), Carlene Reid (Dave), Tom Harseim, Amy Snow (Patrick) and Brian Fruland; his brother Dick (Kathy); and his family George Bailey. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church (202 W Jefferson St, Morris, IL 60450). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Mount Carmel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Operation St. Nick or Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
