He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonas Mickelson and Mary Mickelson (Mikkelson); and his sister Dorothy Lund (Fritz). He is survived by: his former wife Joan Ward; his son John Mickelson (Donna) of Avondale; his grandsons, Corey Mickelson (Ashley) of Surprise and Joseph Mickelson (Mallory) of Phoenix; his great grandchildren, Dorothy and Catherine; and his sister Marilyn Erickson (Bob) of Morris. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
