It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lou Bennington of Morris, Illinois, born in La Salle, Illinois, who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Donnelly and Angela Donnelly (Ratkiewicz); her husband Tom Bennington; and her son Jeff McGuan. She is survived by: her son Shawn McGuan (Lesley) of Morris; her grandchildren, Kendall and Parker McGuan of Morris; her siblings, James Donnelly (Mary Ellen) of Richardson, Thomas Donnelly of Cocoa Beach, Pamela Randol (late Steven) of Paducah and Kevin Donnelly (Victoria) of Hinsdale, Illinois; and her daughter-in-law Stacey Johnson (Craig) of Coal City, Illinois. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Mary Lou's memory to the Alzheimer's Association or Lightways Hospice.
