He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Steven Karnezis and Nicoletta Karnezis (Pappas); his wife Irene; his son John; his daughter-in-law Barb Karnezis of Channahon; his daughter Maggie; his son-in-law Jeff Novak of Mokena; his grandchildren, Jason Novak, Alex Novak and Arianna Karnezis; and his brothers, George Karnezis (Elaine) of Morris, Pete Karnezis (Julia) of Munster, Evans Karnezis (Terry) of Orland Park and Tommy Karnezis (Marie) of Houston. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Loui's memory to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's, the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation or to a Cancer Research Foundation of the donor's choosing.
