It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Carr (Morris, Illinois), born in Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on April 23, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Linus Brantner and Belva Brantner (Garman); her husband James Carr; and her brothers, Harold, Max and Harlan.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Carr (Deb) of Vernon Hills, IL, Vicky Whitchard (Jerry) of Centerville, TN and Kevin Carr (Joanne) of Byron; her grandchildren, Douglas Carr (Alexis Mathews), Caitlin Carr, April Burleson, Andrew Lahr (Brandy), Katie Bivens (Dwight), Ashley Cuddy (Michael), Anthony Wittemeyer and Megan Carr; and her great grandchildren, Adrianna, Jared, Liam, Emily and Griffin.
Memorials may be directed to the United Church of Byron, Pinecrest Good Samaritan Fund, or Serenity Hospice and Home.
