She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Sandstrom and Isabel Sandstrom Bonnell (Jones); and her former husband John Pecka. She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia E. "Cindy" Hecht (Jason); her grandson Asher Hecht; and her siblings, Edward Sandstrom (Maria) and Karen Hancock (Jim). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In accordance with the Illinois guidelines, a 10 person capacity rotation will be followed, face masks are required, and social distancing will be observed.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the wishes of the family would be appreciated.
