It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leroy J. Purdy Jr. of Morris, Illinois, born in Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on July 5, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy J. Purdy, Sr. and Wilma Purdy (Mallott); and his son Todd Prudy Sr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Ames (Christopher) of Morris, Deborah Tyler of Morris, Gina Cherven (Andrew) of Dwight and Jill Holbrook (Mark) of Morris. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren along with 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
