He is survived by: his wife Ruth Gennell Dallas Hankins; his daughters, Julie Smith (Bruce) of Morris and Libby Hankins Fugate of Chicago; his grandchildren, Jennifer Perry (Mike) of Oglesby, IL and Brandt Smith (Missy) of Morris; his great grandchildren, Alexa, Ashley, Elizabeth, Samuel Shaw, Jessica Scott, Sophie Smith and Josef Smith; his great great grandchild Jace Cailey; and his sister Lois Gilbert.
