It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lavern Johnson (Morris, Illinois), born in Elwood, Illinois, who passed away on November 14, 2017, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Johnson and Blanche Johnson (Freeman); his brother-in-law Mary Ada Bailey (Dale); and his brothers, Donald Johnson and Howard Johnson.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Karen Hinds (James) of Shorewood and Mark Johnson (Lori) of Morris; his grandchildren, Brett, Noah, Emma Hinds, Alexis Johnson and Colby Johnson; his brother John Johnson (Judi) of Hollister, CA; and his brothers-in-law, Ervina Johnson of Jonesboro, IL, LouAnn Johnson of Fresno, CA, Betty Collins (James) of East Bernstadt, KY, Richard Bailey (Eileen) of Irvine, KY and Charles Bailey (Bonnie) of Mt. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
