He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Heck and Wilma Heck (Strain); his sisters, Nancy Berrsheim (late Jerry) and Mary Kathryn Heck; and his close friend Sonny.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Heck (Giovannoni); his children, Lisa French (Ron), Tracey Contreras (Daniel) and Shawna Heck-Hernandez (Alex); his grandchildren, Jenny, Eric, Aidan, Rebeka, Lyssette, Mathew and Isabella; his great grandchild Zoey; his sister-in-law Dolores Jacobs (Gary); his niece Regena Alonzo; and his great-nieces, Annabelle and Evie. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials in his name can be made to the Medinah Temple or the Shriners Children's Hospital.
