He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Steele and Marian Steele (Kay); and his nephew Brian Hendricks. He is survived by: his wife Gayle (Sterritt); his children, Scott Steele (Lisa) of Chicago, Heather Thouvenin (Bryan) of Morris and Keegan Steele (Lisa) of Morris; his grandchildren, Ryley, Levi, Ian, Noah Steele, Tony, Olivia Saenz, Aidan Thouvenin, Layla, Elora Steele, Keegan and Kaiden Hall; his sister Marlene Hendricks (Gene) of Pocatello, ID.; and his siblings-in-law, Tim Sterritt of Morris and Nancy Aldrich of Morris. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
