She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis O. Scherer and Margaret E. Scherer; her husband Claude S. Farmer Jr.; her son Charles S. Farmer; and her brothers, Frank, William and Thomas Scherer.
She is survived by: her siblings, Ann Scherer Grassel of Walnut Creek, CA, Theresa Scherer Martin of Ladd, Christina Scherer Jesiolowski (Brian) of Ladd and Edward Scherer of Black Canyon, AZ; and her sister-in-law Mary Farrell of Coal City. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
