He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Helland and Helen Helland (Johnson). He is survived by: his wife Janet Fairall of Morris; his children, Cindy Lamb (George) of Seneca, Richard Helland (Regina) of Mokena and Kerry Stubblefield of Minocqua, WI; his grandchildren, Joshua Watkins, Erik Anderson (Jaymie), Lauren Lamb, Curtis Anderson, Kevin Stubblefield, Kayce Jansen (Aaron) and Kyle Stubblefield; and his brothers, Alvin Helland (late Lois) of Morris and Bennie Helland (Eleanor) of Morris. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Stavanger Lutheran Church or the Lamb Family Fund for Crotty Park Playground.
