John Mikula Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Mikula (Morris, Illinois), born in Lockport, Illinois, who passed away on January 17, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mikula and Victoria Mikula (Dobosz); and his sister Jacqueline Mau (Howard). He is survived by: his wife Sharon Mikula of Goose Lake; his children, Amber Mikula of Plainfield, Angela Stirbis (late David) of Ottawa, John Mikula, Jr. (Sue) of Warner Robins, Joseph Mikula (Tina) of Morris and James Mikula of Morris; his stepson Donald Bedford (Laura) of Waterloo, Illinois; his grandchildren, Ashley Fosnaugh (Rusty), Kourtnie Huddleston, Corey Mikula (Megan), Kammiroen Reilly (Phillip), Kelsey Boese (Ryan), Chayancze Stirbis, Joshua Mikula, Caitlin Mikula, John "Jack" Mikula, Loren Mikula, Austin Bedford and Nicholas Bedford; his great grandchildren, Blake, Luke Fosnaugh, Brooke Huddleston, Lydia, Zoei Mikula, Creed, Blare Reilly, Nora and Tucker Boese; his sister Carol Bazzarone (late Leon) of Coal City; and his brother-in-law Alan Bachert (Judi) of Wildwood. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Peace Lutheran Church (101 Candlelight Ln, Morris, IL 60450). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
