He was predeceased by: his parents, George Schneider and Clara Schneider (Eich); and his siblings, Edward Berens (Mildred), Alice Ardaugh (Maurice), Francis Berens (Marge), Lavern Schneider (Mardel), Irma Fox (Harlow), Doris Smego (John) and James Schneider (Raquel).
He is survived by: his children, Kathryn Pouk (Thomas), Brian Schneider (Jane) and Edward Schneider (Robin); his grandchildren, Krista Davis, Ryan Hitt (Kelly), Mitchell Schneider (April), Nicholas Schneider, Justin Engelman, Joshua Engelman (Nichole) and Elizabeth Heath (Dustin); and his sister-in-law Marge Berens. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Joliet Area Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
