We are sad to announce that on June 16, 2024, at the age of 71, John D. Marx of Morris, Illinois, born in Olney, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John D. Marx to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert A. Marx and Ellen Marx (Bratsch); his son Eric; and his brother Ronald. He is survived by: his daughter Rebecca Barajas (Raymond) of Dickinson, N. D.; his grandchildren, Lauren Steyl (Jean), Abigail Sokolinski, Claire Barajas, Isabel Barajas, Charlotte Price, Jeany Steyl, Elijah Steyl, Poitiea Price and Isaac Steyl; and his siblings, Robert (Kim), Karen Marshall (Gerald), Jerry, Darrel (Lyn) and Dennis (Kris). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Preferred memorials may go to Lighways Hospice of Joliet, where he received excellent care from all the staff.
