He was predeceased by: his parents, Jewel Buttry and Betty Buttry; his wife Joyce Buttry; his brother Randy Buttry; and his son-in-law Jim Smith.
He is survived by: his close friend Roberta Bailey; his daughters, Kim Smith (late Jim Smith) and Pam Simpson (Jeff); his grandchildren, Brittney Erickson (Joe), Caitlyn Simpson and Logan Simpson; his great grandchild Louella Erickson; his siblings, David Buttry and Beverly Bailey; his siblings-in-law, Scott Mitchell and Pat Koehen (Bob); his grandchildren, Halie, Max and Hannah Olson; and also, Erin Olson (Jonathon) and Amy Gillette (Eric).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests contributions to be made to a scholarship fund that will be established in Grandpa Jewel's name.
