He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William and Ethel Bass (Nevills); his wife Cherry Bass (Johnson) of Morris; his children, David Bass (Evelyn) of Minooka, Jeffery Bass (Susan) of New York and Beverley Tripamer (Robert) of Oak; his grandchildren, David Bass Jr. Lisa Breitwieser (Chris), Jesse James De Groot (Layne), Matthew De Groot and Gabriel Bass; his great grandchildren, Michael, Ashley Bass, Brandon Mazzoni, Jesse James De Groot II, Nya Mazzoni, Ethan Breitwieser, Abel De Groot, Lorelei De Groot, Jimmy De Groot and Levi De Groot; and his siblings, Lucille Davidson of Monee, IL, James Bass of Bridgeview, IL., Brenda Perry, Edril Stricklin, Preston, Leon, William, Robert and Joe Bass.
In accordance with the Illinois guidelines face masks are required and social distancing will be observed.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to the St. Jude Children's Hospital or Lurie Children's Hospital, Chicago would be appreciated.
