He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Belt and Jessie Belt (Broderick); his spouse Delight Montanus; and his brothers, Donald Belt, Michael Belt and James Belt.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Belt of Morris, Scott Belt (Cindy Belt) of Morris and Joy Belt-Roselieb (Craig Roselieb) of Westmont, Illinois.; and his grandchildren, Tara (Jon Larson) of Lemont, Jessica (J. T. Strube) of Johnson City, Tennesee, Jenna (Joshua Finfrock) of Sycamore, Monica (Cody Frank) of Iowa City, Joshua Belt (Ella Peterson) of Bellevue and Abigail Roselieb of Worcester, Massachusetts.. He is also survived by four great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
