He was predeceased by : his father Jim, mother Josephine, his daughter Kathleen; and his grandparents, Ignac and Antonia Kastelec. He is survived by : his wife Patricia (Kaveney); his children, Cindy Jenkins (late Rodney) of Morris, Jeff Malone of Morris, Dawn Lambert (Bill) of Westfield, IN and Mark Malone (Brandy) of Channahon; and his grandchildren, Amanda Jenkins, Jessica Jenkins, Alex Lambert, Austin "A. J." Lambert, Noah Malone, and Annalise Malone.
Jim's life journey ended following a hard struggle with Parkinson's Disease, which took his ability and desire for the entertaining and conversation that he loved so much.
