With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James R. Cranston of Morris, Illinois, who passed away on April 9, 2021 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Cranston (Quinlan) and Daniel Cranston; and his brother Michael Cranston. He is survived by: his wife Helen Cranston (Stepanek); his children, James, Steven (Beth), Edward (Kelly), Abigail, Zachary and David Cranston; his grandchildren, Stephanie (Krystal), Kaylee, Emily, Steven Jr., Daniella of Courteney, T. J., Michael and Daniel; his great grandchild Alexa; and his sisters, Catherine Lassiter (late Joseph) and Bernice Gidney (James). He is also survived by his wife and children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends.
Facemasks and social distancing will be observed at the funeral home and church.
In lieu of flowers memorials to the family would be very much appreciated.
