He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his children, Jason Summers (Jennifer), Jennifer Hampton (James) and Jeff Clayton; his grandchildren, Anna Vella (Gavin), Brooke Vella, Natalie Summers, Brighton Summers and Paige Summers; his great grandchild Avielyn Bensa; and his sisters, Wendy Ward and Kathy Ragusa (Chuck).

Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the U. C. Davis-Callahan Funeral Home (301 W Washington St, Morris, IL 60450). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
