He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry T. Benner and Patricia Benner (Stewart) of Harry's Shoe Repair; his wife Sharon; and his siblings, Paul and Patricia.
He is survived by: his sons, Scott Benner (Emily) of Morris and Shawn Benner (Tamara) of Morris; his grandson Elliot Benner; his siblings-in-law, Bonnie Osmundson of Arizona and Gary Bright (Judy) of Pontiac; his niece Sara; and his nephews, Kevin, Keith, Kyle, Mark and Daniel. He is also survived by many cousins, great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the U. C. Davis-Callahan Funeral Home (301 W Washington St, Morris, IL 60450). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
