He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Nelson and Sadie Nelson (Tesdall); his wife Betty Bradley; and his grandson David Nelson. He is survived by: his children, Karen Nelson of Morris and Kim Wright (Garron) of Brentwood, TN; his grandsons, Brooks and Ken Nelson (Peggy) of Grants Pass, OR; and his great grandchildren, Eric Nelson and Jessica Dunham (David).
Harold was an active member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church all his life.Memorials may be given to Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
