With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gordon K. Vaskdal (Morris, Illinois), who passed away on April 2, 2018 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Vaksdal and Bertha Vaksdal (Mickelson); his wife Esther; and his sons-in-law, Michael John Togliatti and Jay Zielinski.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Zielinski of Mazon, Betty Polarek (Paul) of Morris, Becky Togliatti of Morris and Galynn Vaksdal (Mike Fleming) of Morris; and his grandchildren, Emily McNabb, Lisa Allen (Mike), Jason Zielinski, Michael Polarek (Chris), Jenifer Curran (Jon), Lisa Smith (William), Michael Togliatti (Jen Nicoletti), Kathleen Hannon (Travis), Valerie Arwood (Michael), Ashley Greisen (David), Courtney Lee (Daniel), Peter Fleming (Sara) and Megan Sjostrom (Ryan). He is also survived by two great grandchildren; one great, great grandson; several nieces and nephews.
