She was predeceased by: her parents, Leona Rowley and Lloyd Rowley; her husband Gunther Hugo; and her stepdaughter Julie Sumpter (Hugo). She is survived by: her children, Sara Smith (Palmer) of Coal City, IL and Steve Palmer (Audra) of Fort Mill, SC; her stepson Bruce Hugo (Leslie) of Sandy, UT; her sisters, Joanne Boyd (Jim) of Loveland and Terri Allen (Jim) of Cedar Falls, IA; and her grandchildren, Danielle Schulte (Dylan), Mackenzie Smith, Zach Smith, Vann Palmer and Sam Palmer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
