She was predeceased by: her parents, George Harrop and Anna Harrop; her husband William R. Brown; and her siblings, George Harrop and Betty Pomatto.
She is survived by: her daughter Carol Leschewski (Melvin) of Morris; her grandchildren, Robert Peacock (Rebecca) of Minooka, Amy McCowan (Ross) of Minooka, Adrianne McKerrow (Jeremy) of Morris and Jessica Leschewski of Dwight; her great grandchildren, Amber Heckler (Jake) of Morris, Dylan Peacock of Minooka, Drayden of Morris, Alexxis of Morris and Maverick McKerrow of Morris; and her great great grandchild McKenna Heckler of Morris.
Due to COVID-19 requirements, safe social distancing will be required and we are asking for visitors to wear their masks while visiting the family.
Memorials may be made in Geraldine's name to the First United Methodist Church of Morris or to the Grundy Community Lending Closet.
