He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur S. Knudson and Susie Mae Knudson (Williamson); his wife Patricia; his son Douglas; his sisters, Margery Barnes and Virginia Johnson; his sister-in-law Diana Richards; his niece Sheila Eggers; and his nephew Alan Richards.
He is survived by: his daughter Lynn Knudson Schiff (Emile); his grandchildren, Trevor and Alexis Schiff; his nieces, Sandra Joiner (Gregory), Cathy Whalen and Diane Dastych (Ted); his nephew Larry Johnson (Denise); and his close friends, Sheri Mason (Ray) and Clifton (Rachel).
In lieu of flowers memorials in his name can be made to the Minooka United Methodist Church.
